Aisling looks after PR and social media for Kerry Taste and Nutrition's central marketing team in Europe. She studied Journalism and New Media at the University of Limerick, graduating in 2012. Her career started in the Irish Farmers Journal, where she worked as a journalist and social media specialist for five years. She was awarded the Simon Cumbers Media Fund on four occasions, travelling to Ethiopia, Malawi, Nepal and Vietnam to report on development issues. Aisling worked for a homelessness and housing NGO for two years, before moving to Kerry in 2020. Here, she works with colleagues across the region to create engaging content for campaigns. Her favourite part of the job is coming up with creative ways to tell stories and communicating the latest food trends. Aisling was awarded U Magazine’s 30 under 30 award in 2018 for innovation and was named a Young Leader in Agricultural Journalism by the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists in 2014. Her thesis was recognised as the runner-up in the Vincent Doyle Award for Investigative Journalism in 2012. She has also won numerous awards for her social media work. She is also currently studying Public Policy at Dublin City University as a part-time student.
